How It Works
Deep links and ADB. not a remote
EIVES uses Android Debug Bridge and streaming service deep links to control your TV at the system level. No IR blasters, no third-party bridges. When you say "put on Netflix" it opens, navigates, and plays, without a single button press.
The backbone, not the interface
Home Assistant runs on your local network as the device layer. EIVES talks to it directly. No cloud relay, no internet dependency. Everything your HA instance can control, EIVES can speak to naturally.
Tailscale keeps every node in sync
Satellite nodes throughout your home connect to the hub via a private Tailscale mesh. Commands route to the right room automatically. No port-forwarding, no exposed services, no attack surface.
Ad detection, zone routing, multi-person voice
EIVES is in active development. The roadmap includes automatic ad muting, zone-based device routing so the right node handles the right room, and voice profiles that recognise who's speaking, without sending audio anywhere.
